Craft and Gift Shop at H18

Hangar 18, at Unit 3 Woodbridge Business Park, 452 Koeberg Rd, Milnerton, a local Coffee Shop and Social Upliftment Programme, has opened a Craft and Gift Shop.

Amazing Crafts, handmade by local vendors, as well as gifts and clothing, are now available at Hangar 18. Opened today, 11 September, and continually growing.

104 days until Christmas, get your stocking fillers and gifts early this year. Forgot to buy a birthday gift? Pop in and get what you need. There is so much variety; you will be spoiled for choice. Have a perfectly brewed cappuccino or a meal created by our amazing Chef, and browse the Shop, meet our Weavers and watch them create their gorgeous mats and handbags, using all upcycled materials

Hangar 18 is open between 8am and 4pm. It’s an interesting place to visit with a menu made with love! Visit our social media @hangar18ct.

See you soon

We wish to congratulate Hangar 18 co-owner, Amanda Solomon, who has been selected the July 2017 Hero for LeadSA.

LeadSA is a Primedia Broadcasting initiative whereby members of the public nominate people that are working to uplift their community.  Their panel of judges selected Amanda.

Amanda was interviewed on Cape Talk by Pippa Hudson - LIVE - a rather daunting event, but came out the other end unscathed.  You can listen to the interview here.

What a great honour for Amanda and Hangar 18.

Thank you LeadSA and Primedia.

Our last market is happening on Saturday, 2nd September, 9am to 1pm.

As we get Hangar 18 geared towards a full time Craft and Gift shop, selling our crafters amazing wares, we have space for one more market.

So come along, with your friends and family, and enjoy the amazing vibe Hangar 18 is so well known for.

Meet your neighbours over a cuppa, and buy some amazing locally handmade crafts.

Having completed one Market at Hangar 18, we have learnt and grown.

Learnt that despite the modern advertising landscape, you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Words like Reach, Engagement and Frequency, have entirely different meanings in the digital media world.

Despite an entire lack of knowledge and a strong desire to put our heads in the sand, we plodded through.

And, using an entirely digital medium, we marketed our market.

The 1st Hangar 18 Indoor Artisan Market was a success.

Now we can attempt to use our new knowledge base and do it all over again, for the next Market.

So, Ladies and Gents, our next Hangar 18 Indoor Artisan Market is on the 3rd of June, from 9am to 1pm, right here, at Hangar 18, Milnerton's favourite Coffee Shop.

3 June Market Flyer

A Market is a place for peaceful browsing, unusual handmade crafts and delicious food, top it off with a little bit of live music, and your experience will be a win.

How about attending an Indie Craft Market once a month, and, even though our market is indoors, Indie is about our crafters and shoppers. (Even though an indoor market in Milnerton is rather a good idea – and Indie rhymes with windy)

'Indie' is an informal version of independent, but has come to mean so much more in our world of trending words. Indie has come to define originality and forward-thinking in music and design. And is much cooler than Emo.

Artisans not associated with a large company are Indie, and so is the shopper who chooses to support small business and handmade crafts rather than shopping at chain stores.

Hangar 18’s Indoor Artisan Market is just that, an Indie market, for the indie shopper.

Put on your Indie shoes and pop round to our Indoor Artisan Market and have a true Indie experience.

Amanda was interviewed on Click the link to hear more about what Hangar 18 is all about, and what you can do to be a part of their upliftment programme! #upliftment #nervewracking #ebizentrepreneur #hangar18 Thank you ebiz, for the opportunity to share.ebiz
